The work to be performed shall consist of furnishing all labor, materials and equipment

necessary to construct the project entitled 2023 SPLOST/TSPLOST/LMIG PAVING PROJECT as

shown in the Contract Documents. In general, construction consists of approximately 13.24 miles of

Plant Mix Leveling, Resurfacing and striping on various county roads in Sumter County and 0.15 miles

of new pavement including grading complete, base, pavement, storm drainage and striping on Roy

Vaughn Road. This work will be awarded in one contract. The work shall be fully completed within 180

consecutive calendar days from the date notice to proceed is given. Payment will be made within ten days

after receipt of each Application for Payment as further outlined in the Contract Documents. Questions
