The Sumter County Board of Commissioners will hold a Public Hearing on Wednesday, February 12, 2025, at 9:00 AM at the Sumter County Courthouse in the Board of Commissioners’ meeting room at 500 West Lamar Street, Americus, GA 31709. All Sumter County Board of Commissioners meetings are open to the public.
The Sumter County Board of Commissioners intends to opt out of the statewide adjusted base year ad valorem homestead exemption for Sumter County.
