PUBLIC HEARING
A public hearing is scheduled for Thursday, April 9, 2020 at 6:00 p.m. at the Sumter County Courthouse, Board Room, 500 West Lamar Street, Americus, Georgia with the Zoning Board of Appeals for the purpose of receiving citizens input and comments to discuss the following request:
2020-V04-160: To consider a request from Dana O. Rylander for a variance to create three substandard lots from a 9.13 acre tract located at 1145 US Highway 280 East, Americus, Georgia. This property is identified as parcel number 1613-254-3 and is located in an Agriculture District (AG).
2020-V04-161: To consider a request from Connie M. Downs for a variance to build a 20’ X 12’ accessory building in the front yard and vary the front setback from 40’ to 15’ located at 567 Flintside Drive, Cobb, Georgia. This property is identified as parcel number 1525-109A-19 and is located in a Lake Single Family Residential District (R1-L).
2020-V04-162: To consider a request from Clifford and Dianne Church to vary the front set back from 40’ to 36’ and vary the left setback from 20’ to 11’ to build a 50’ X 25’ garage located at 129 Riverside Drive, Cobb, Georgia. This property is identified as parcel number 1527-151A-52 and is located in a Lake Single Family Residential District (R-1L).
