The safety and well being of Sumter County's citizens and visitors are top priorities for our employees when delivering public services and maintaining venues for activities. We are committed to ensuring these services and facilities remain safe and free from harm.
To achieve this, Sumter County partners with the Association of County Commissioners of Georgia's Interlocal Risk Management Agency (ACCG-IRMA) and Local Government Risk Management Services (LGRMS) to uphold best practices in safety and risk management.
